ABOUT LOCAL #1140

Chartered in 1939, Laborers Local #1140 is an affiliate of the Laborers International Union of North America. Originally a construction union, today Local #1140 represents construction workers, service contract workers, printing companies, hospital workers, and many other trades.

JURISDICTION

Our jurisdiction encompasses the entire State of Nebraska and 10 counties in southwestern Iowa, including: Pottawattamie, Cass, Adair, Mills, Montgomery, Adams, Union, Fremont, Page, and Ringgold.

Local #1140 has offices in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.
